This was a pretty good album but there's a couple things I don't like about. I would have prefered more variation with the congas for sure. They sound like they're the same beat for each track. (1,2-3 1,2-3). It starts to dracted me away from the song after a while and the songs could have been played without the congas just as well too. I also would have liked it if Lou wrote more songs on the album. He only wrote 2 of the 7, but at least the ones he wrote are the better ones on here. Those being Gravy Train and Twist Time. The cover artwork doesn't apeal to me much either. Not a big fan of a photo of someone stuffing their face with food.
Ok, so it sounds like I don't like this album. I do like the music but I've heard better and it's still a good album to listen to but I have to be in one of those moods I guess, whatever mood that is.
