Review of Go Remixes [Vinyl]

As everyone knows this song featured the sample from the Twin Peaks theme and I'd honestly say that this track is nothing without that sample. I was lucky enough to have not had the knowledge of knowing where the sample came from until I found out myself while watching Twin Peaks and was like; "Holy Shit, Moby took that sample from this show!!!"

My favourite remix is the Woodtick Mix. It's pretty much a 6+ minute version of the original. The Rainforest Mix is a pure mess and I don't like it at all. It's a faster track and doesn't feature that sample at all so what the hell's the point? It's just another tech track, but annoying one. The Subliminal Mix is nearly the same as the original but features some extra spacey type samples put it. An effective track. Soundtrack Mix is a soft version and starts out slow and sounds pretty haunting for the first minute. I love the start of this track. There's an extra piano riff put in this one as well and this is my second favourite mix on here. It doesn't feature the Twin Peaks sample but it's still a good track on it's own. This single ends with the Original Mix and I don't like it at all. It has some good bass but it's too acid sounding for my taste and I was never a fan of old school acid.

Overall this is a classic piece in techno history and must for any 90's techno mixtape!
