I got this book as a gift, along with The Night Land. I actually enjoyed The Boats of the Glen Carrig more, even though I was told The Night Land was his masterpiece. It was a shorter tale so there was less boring parts and I loved how quickly each chapter moved. It felt like each chapter was its own short story at times and there was some truly memorable scenes, like "The Weed Men" chapter. Scary looking things they sounded like. I was very impressed with this book and I highly recommend it if your a fan of Poe or Lovecraft.
