Review of Impact

**spoiler alert** So far this is the best story I've read from Preston but I will say that it has it's flaws and I can see why some people don't like it. It seems like there's 100 pages he could have cut out that didn't need to be in the plot to make it better. I'm mostly talking about the two girls trying to get away from a killer. It didn't advance the plot and I was finding myself wanting to just skip those parts. Aside from that I loved this book. The ending was clever and seeing as how I'm a space nut I loved the idea of an ancient weapon on another planet, like Total Recall I guess.
