Review of The Help

"The Help" is a movie based on the big 2009 bestseller by Kathryn Stockett’s novel, that discusses the early-’60s world set in Jackson, Miss., in 1963. The beauty of the movie is that the movie itself sometimes looks like it was made in 1963.

Despite its sensitive subject matter – the injustice of black-white race relations especially in the South at the dawn of the civil rights movement – it’s a carefully manicured, almost a classic piece of moviemaking. that is both rousing and lulling.

I personally enjoyed watching this movie and have a feel that this movie will definitely shortlisted for Oscar nominations,
