An average movie

I didn't expect much from this flick but, somehow, I still ended up watching the damned thing. Well, obviously, the whole thing seemed  to be indeed really stupid but, to be honest, I have to admit that I was actually positively surprised, at least, during the 30 minutes. Indeed, the whole situation was completely ridiculous but Martin Lawrence actually embraced it and it was actually quite entertaining for a moment. The fact that I had such low expectations probably helped though. Unfortunately, it didn't last, I'm afraid, and I think it started to go in the wrong direction from the moment the main character suggested to open a fast-food chain in this medieval world. I mean, not only it wasn't funny at all but, even worse, these medieval characters were actually pretty excited about this idea and it basically set the tone for the rest of the movie and, afterwards, the whole became really lame, I'm afraid. Indeed, basically, from this point on, the main character would keep coming up with some modern ideas, all rather ridiculous, and, each time, they were welcome with some cheers by the locals turning them into some massive morons. Anyway, the whole thing was just terribly misguided, most of it just didn't work at all, and you should pretty much avoid this movie.
