An average movie

Honestly, beforehand, I was expecting much from this flick but if I remember correctly, my step-daughter wanted to check it out so that's how I eventually ended up watching it. As a matter of fact, I have actually seen a similar movie starring Steve Coogan (also called 'The Alibi'). Even though it wasn't anything mindblowing, it was still rather entertaining. Not like this Dutch version... I mean, the concept has something appealing but they barely did anything with it. Georgina Verbaan who is very famous in the Netherlands is starring here and I guess she was rather charming but she didn't succeed in making this plot interesting whatsoever. I mean, the directing was really not inspired and the whole thing was just really poorly written. At the end of the day, it was just a generic and boring romantic-comedy with some completely uninteresting characters with no charisma whatsoever. Basically, I have seen worse movies but this one is not really worth a look, even if you are intested in Dutch movies.
