*girls' only* movie

Holly (Hilary Swank) and Gerry (Gerard Butler) are married and considering having children. Quite suddenly Gerry dies leaving Holly widowed. Following his death, she starts receiving letters written by her deceased husband; those letters will help her deal with pain and start a new life.

The film has a great cast! Aside from Swank and Butler, there are the 2 best friends played by Gina Gershon and Lisa Kudrow (whose role is plain hilarious), as well as Kathy Bates (Holly's mother), Harry Connick Jr and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

It's a nice romantic movie that brings you to Ireland and its beautiful scenery. The photography in fact is quite good.

I honestly didn't expect the movie to be so... tear-jerking and emotional. Expect to cry. A lot. Definitely a great romance not to be missed for those who enjoy this type of movie.
