The premise of this movie is interesting - however, the movie overall kind of falls flat. It IS watchable, but the group of profilers-in-training are supposed to be a promising group of individuals - special, better than the others.
Yet, not one of them is able to figure out the pattern behind the killings until late in the game. Mistrust quickly builds among a group who know each other quite well, but it's not well played.
A group of people who are being trained to solve puzzles and profile killers can't even catch on - even a little bit - to what's happening to them until a number of them have become victims.
The murders are gruesome and interesting, for the most part - but that, coupled with the mind games - are about the best things this film has going for it.
When the killer is finally revealed...what a disappointing turn of events. Predictable way to end the movie. If you are paying attention, you can see this revelation coming LONG before it actually happens.
Yes, this movie DOES have a good deal of suspense, but it is also fairly predictable.
