Review of Ringer

I am SO glad to see Sarah Michelle Gellar back in a TV series, and while it is the second show on the air (that I both know of and have watched) that has a plot about twins switching places and some deep dark secret (the other being "The Lying Game"), "Ringer" is by far the better show out of the two to sit down and watch (the other being a waste of time with bad acting and bad writing with the only bright spot for that show being Adrian Pasdar).

"Ringer" also includes Kristoffer Polaha and Ioan Gruffudd, as well as Nestor Carbonell, all familiar faces. And Sarah Michelle Gellar is, of course, doing a great job with her dual part. I am hooked after two episodes, and hope it gets to continue and reveal more and more of the underlying story and secrets. The show is dark, which I enjoy after watching a bunch of very fluffy and terribly written "dramas"...and has some good writing. Don't know yet if it's more than solid and good (as in, I don't know if I could say it's excellent), but after the initial two episodes, I am left wanting more.
