An average movie

In fact, for a very long time, I had been planning to watch 'It' around this time of the year with Nick, my step-son, but, at the very last moment,  he came to the conclusion that he didn't feel like watching something so scary and he was eventually more eager to watch an action movie so I suggested to watch this movie instead after all. Well, to be honest, even though Nick thought it was pretty cool, it took me a very long time to get into the damned thing. Sure, the action scenes were all rather well done but I'm afraid I have seen too many of those to really care anymore. Furthermore, it wasn't really  so funny either so I got bored fairly quickly. Fortunately, as soon as Samuel L. Jackson got really involved, it became much more fun and, with Ryan Reynolds, they had a pretty good chemistry. On top of that, it was pretty neat that half of the movie was shot in the Netherlands  (for those who didn't know it yet, I have been living there for the last 15 years) and I don't think I managed to spot one mistake about what they displayed. To conclude,  even though it was nothing really amazing whatsoever, I have to admit that it was still a decent watch and I guess it is worth a look, at least, if you really like the genre.
