An average movie

I had no idea what to expect from this flick but since there was a decent cast involved, I thought I might as well check it out. Well, to be honest, it did start with a dreadful first scene. Of course, I got the idea but it looked just lame and silly and, my first tought was that, after the terribly underwhelming 'Night at the Museum' franchise, is there no way nowadays that they can come up with a decent feature taking place in a museum? Fortunately, even though the damages were pretty severe, from that point, it started slowly to get better. I mean, sure, it was nothing original whatsoever but the actors involved all did a fine job, especially Christopher Walken and Morgan Freeman. I especially liked the fact that Freeman was obviously playing a gay man but there was no mention of this character's sexual orientation during the whole duration which was a very nice touch. Furthermore, I also appreciated the fact that, for once, the actual heist seemed to be realistic and doable. Of course, there were a couple of unnecessary twists and a few details that didn't really add up but most of it actually made sense. Anyway, to conclude, even though my rating might be slightly generous here, I thought it was actually a decent movie and I think it is worth a look, especially if you like the genre.ย
