A very good movie

Since I kept hearing good things about this flick, I was really eager to check it out. Furthermore, I have to say it has one of the best title ever conceived and just for that, I wanted to see it and I had some rather huge expectations. Honestly, I haven't read the book so I don't know if the movie is really faithful or not but it is basically a love story with a historical background. To be honest, even though I thought that this story was good, I was actually expecting more somehow. Still, there were many things to enjoy about this flick and, eventually, the best thing about this movie was definitely the acting. Indeed, you had here 2 of the most amazing actors at work nowadays (Daniel Day-Lewis, Juliette Binoche) and they both gave some stunning performances creating some fascinating characters in the process. Honestly, without them, I'm afraid it would have been a rather average romance flick, at least that’s my opinion. On the other hand, I might have been in the wrong mood when I watched it the first time around so maybe I should give it another shot at some point. Anyway, even though it didn’t really blow me away like I was hoping for, it was still a very good movie and it is definitely worth a look.
