A very good movie

Honestly, I had never heard of this movie before but since I’m a huge fan of Alfred Hitchcock’s work, I was really eager to check it out. Eventually, even though it is not indeed one of his most famous features, I still thought it was actually pretty awesome. To be honest, it used in fact a rather standard gimmick used by Hitchcock, the story of an ordinary man stuck into a devilish plot but, this time, like many times before, it was quite flawless. First of all, the great Henry Fonda was playing the lead (I think it was the only time he worked with the great master) and he delivered a sober but great and totally believable performance. I really wish I would watch more movies with this guy, he is definitely one of my favorite classic actors. Furthermore, like I mentioned before, the plot was actually rather mundane but thanks to Hitchcock amazing directing, the whole thing was completely spellbinding to watch and I was captivated from the beginning until the very end. To conclude, even though it doesn’t get much credit, it is actually a really a good flick and it is definitely worth a look, especially if you are interested in Hitchcock's work.
