Review of Nobody Cares Unless You're Pretty or Dying

This album is an acquired taste. The first time I had heard only the first song had really hooked me, and everything after that felt pretentious or strange. It took me a couple of listens to really enjoy the songs, but I do stand by that previous claim. It hurts to say as I am a fan of Austin Scholl's writing and storytelling, but this album is not for everyone, not even for me who is a fan of post-punk, and hardcore pop.
