Father Greg Pilkington is torn between his call as a conservative Catholic priest and his secret life as a homosexual with a gay lover, frowned upon by the Church. Upon hearing the confession of a young girl of her incestuous father, Greg enters an intensely emotional spiritual struggle deciding between choosing morals over religion and one life over another.
Father Matthew Thomas, played by 'Tom Wilkinson' is just hilarious, everything that comes out of his mouth is just so funny, espeically when he's trying to wind up one of the other priests against homosexuality, shouting "How was it for you, big boy?" through the wall. His relationship with Maria could have been explored a little more, the same as Greg's and Graham's, but it was a fairly good movie.
Very heart breaking in places, and the end just breaks you down in tears.
