There are many reasons of why I consider this to be my favorite cartoon of all time and holds a 9/10 on my list of cartoons.
Although it is truth that has few problems, like the ambiguity in some part of the plot that does not explain in detail due to its short duration or the type of narrative that the show has would probably would not appeal to everyone (been this a mix between both lineal and episodice structure).
But, leaving it aside, everything else is flawless: The Setting of the show is very well presented, the animation and character design are really well made (all been a little tribute to cartoons of the past and child fairy tales), the music (and also the voice acting on both spanish and english) rivals that of high budget movies.
The history, although having his ambiguity in some parts, it's very creative with his premise and setting, having a cast of very well writing characters, some great influences on both child fairy tales and Dante's Infierno, adventures on each episode tht works excelent on both standalone stories, and a wonderful ending with some of the best plot twist i had ever seen.
Maybe, some would say that it's not the great masterpiece that I say it is, but that if I am sure that is the most remarkable that has done Western animation in recent years and this worth watching.

Hay muchas razones de por qué considero que esta es mi caricatura favorita de todos los tiempos y tiene un 9/10 en mi lista de caricaturas.
A pesar de que es verdad que tiene sus problemas, como la ambigüedad en algunas partes de la trama que no explica en detalle debido a su corta duración o el tipo de narrativa que tiene el show probablemente no sera del agrado para todo el mundo )siendo una mezcla entre estructura lineal y episódica).
Pero, dejándolo a un lado, todo lo demás es impecable: La ambientación del show están muy bien presentados, la animación y el diseño de los personajes están muy bien hechos (todos han sido un pequeño homenaje a los dibujos animados del pasado y los cuentos infantiles), la música (y también la actuación de voz tanto en español como en inglés) rivaliza con las de películas de alto presupuesto.
La historia, aunque tiene ambigüedad en algunas partes, es muy creativa con su premisa y escenario, teniendo un elenco de muy buenos personajes de escritura, algunas grandes influencias tanto en cuentos de hadas infantiles como del Infierno de Dante, las aventuras de cada episodio son excelentes como historias independientes, y un final maravilloso con uno de los mejores giros de la trama que haya visto.
Tal vez, algunos dirían que no es la gran obra maestra que digo que es, pero que si estoy seguro de que es el más notable que ha hecho la animación occidental en los últimos años y esto vale la pena ver.
