Notes:
*I knew nothing about this until it popped up on Netflix.
*The cast was interesting with Josh Peck and Tony Revolori leading the charge.
*I watched the trailer and it looked decent enough.
*It's actor Chester Tam's first crack at writing and directing a film.
*So I decided to go ahead and give it a shot.
Pros:
*It has some pretty funny moments through it.
*Chester Tam is honestly one of my favorite thing about this.
*I always appreciate seeing actors playing roles against type like Chester Tam and Josh Peck do here.
*Cleopatra Coleman is the other!
Cons:
*Some of the jokes were kind of boring.
*Cleopatra Coleman wasn't in it enough.
*It reminded me too much of Dope in a sense which coincidentally has Tony Revolori in it.
Verdict:
It was a decent enough movie from a first timer. I don't really think it could have been much better. The characters were interesting enough. The story though felt too much like Dope and not quite as gripping. I still enjoyed it for a one time watch.
