Review of Vanishing On 7th Street

Ok, so this movie started off decently, drew me in, made me want to find out what happened in the end....but as it progressed, and just basically dragged on with occasional flashbacks, it just got worse and worse as time passed. Hayden Christensen, who has never really been a very good actor, definitely made me wish he too would disappear, every time it looked like someone else was going to....that might have made the movie more bearable. Most of the time, I felt like I was watching "The Happening" which was 100% terrible, even though the events in both movies are nothing alike, "Vanishing on 7th Street" kept reminding me of "The Happening".

Perhaps because they both were not very good. I got to a point very near the end of the movie where I wondered if I should even bother finishing or just go to sleep and forget about it...against my better judgement, I went back to a completely predictable ending, and my actual words once the credits started rolling were, "oh my god, what a piece of crap".
