Very Entertaining Mostly.

Journey To The Center Of The Earth" is a very good film for the most part.

Brendan Fraser stars a a scientist named Trevor Anderson. He studies earth sciences at a university and in his spare time. His Brother Max Anderson mysteriously disappeared ten years earlier on a trip. Nobody knows why or where. Trevor desperately wants to know, so he sets out on a trip to the center of the earth with his nephew Sean. Prior to that they take a plane to a foreign country. They get lost and go to the nearest house. There, they meet a woman named Hannah. She is the daughter of the late Sigurbjorn Asgeirsson; a great scientist who was studying the same concept as Trevor. She ends up charging them 5,000 dollars an hour to lead the way the center of the earth. The three go on a tremendous journey with several obstacles.

You would think that plot would be all entertainment with no flaws or dull moments. Which is true, except for a couple of scenes that throw the film off quite a bit. Brendan Fraser does great, but could have been a little better. As for the the rest of the cast, They were great.

The story was very well made. It had almost nothing wrong with it. I was hooked from beginning to end, and there were several unforgettable aspects. It was very adventurous. I thought I was there at some points it was so in depth and fun to watch. The visuals were also stunning.

I think this is the perfect family film, with no thinking required, and just enjoyment. If you are looking for a great Oscar winning film, you will obviously not find it here, but if you want a fun to watch film, then this is the film to watch.
