Review of A Lonely Place to Die

This has been on my "to watch" list for quite some time so I figured I would go ahead and check it out. It has a small but fairly recognizable cast. Also the premise does sound quite interesting. The only film I have seen by Julian Gilbey is one of the better segments from ABC's of Death 2. Although I have heard of some of the other work he and his brother have done. Anyways it's time to quit stalling and see if this was worth the wait.

Okay I have to say this was definitely interesting. The cinematography and settings are absolutely stunning. It's actually pretty fast paced and intense. I never knew what would be happening. The kills were not anything particularly new, but when they happened it was shocking. There were some good twists and turns.

The cast did a great job with good characters. There wasn't a whole lot of development among them, but it wasn't particularly necessary here. No one is safe in this which puts it ahead of other films like it.

I think it's a tad bit underrated. It has good characters, beautiful cinematography, and unexpected events. If you haven't seen it yet I definitely recommend it.
