An average movie

To be honest, it has been a while since I have seen this flick and maybe I should give it a 2^nd chance at some point. Basically, when I was a kid, the first movies that I loved were the action flicks and I watched many of them involving such actors like Sylvester Stallone, Jean-Claude van Damme and, of course, Arnold Schwarzenegger. With this in mind, since this movie is a major classic in this genre, I should have loved this movie but, honestly, I thought it was such rather boring. I mean, sure, Schwarzenegger was pretty bad-ass and the action scenes were very well done but I still had a really hard time to care about the damned thing. I mean, all the previous movies starring this actor (‘Conan the Barbarian’, ‘The Terminator’, and later on ‘Predator’), the same elements were also present but they also provided some really nice concepts and also some really entertaining stories, whereas, here, the plot was just really underwhelming. Apparently, the fans will tell you that the one-liners were just really hilarious but I thought that the dialogues and the humor in general were rather abysmal. To conclude, I didn’t like this movie at all but I guess it is probably worth a look if you are a die-hard fan of the genre.
