There are some pretty funny things in the movie, but there is a lot of violence that I don't really find funny, and the movie's story is pretty lame. I don't think it's funny that the bully is shown to be so super violent, not to mention the amount of violence actually shown in the movie that is, I guess, intended to get laughs, which is really sad and disturbing.
Overall, aside from the violence, Drillbit Taylor is okay for the stupid humour (higher quality than most silly movies that are just churned out, but still a bit too formulaic for me...like the writers are getting a bit stale - time for something fresh, guys!!), but there could have been less of a focus on the violence, and the fact the bully seemed to be a sociopath who no authority figures ever seemed to catch in the act was more than a bit unbelievable.
And the ending is just completely ridiculous.
