A very good movie

Since I kept hearing some really good things about this movie (among other things, it managed to win the Academy Awards for Best Documentary feature), I was quite eager to check it out. Well, the damned thing turned out to be seriously totally heartbreaking. Even though you might think that India's economy is really expanding (which is indeed the case), a big chunk of the population still remains in total poverty though. In fact, while watching this movie, I kept thinking about the company I'm working for which do some IT outsourcing with India. In a nutshell,ย  you had here a ย typical contradiction about India. Indeed, ย one hand, this country is a well known worldwide IT provider but, on the other hand, they also have those red light districts which must be some of the worst places on Earth. Anyway, it was just so heartbreaking to see those children who, in spite of the circumstances, still behave like children and enjoy somewhat life. Still, you can see that they are growing way too fast and it won't be long before they loose their innocence. To conclude, even though it was a rather depressing picture, it was still a really good movie and it is definitely worth a look.
