Review of Night of the Wild

I saw this while scrolling through Netflix. The premise is what caught my interest. So I figured I would go ahead and check it out. I found out it's a SyFy film though. The level of entertainment could vary heavily on this. The director has worked on a few horror films. The most notable being The Hitcher films (the remake of which is terrible). Delondra Williams is notorious for writing horrible TV films like Rise of the Zombies and Zombie Night. She even wrote the awful Asylum parody of Fifty Shades of Grey. The only upside of that was Charisma Carpenter showing some skin haha. The opening definitely proves which company worked on it. Well that was certainly an interesting beginning. The acting isn't the worst I've seen from Syfy. Shep is truly adorable. This town has a large amount of dogs. Some of them are precious. Okay the scene with the cats was actually well done. That's what you get. Holy crap that was messed up and it put me in my feelings. Damn they got messed up. I mean that's why you don't go being selfish. At least the weirdo in love with their dog isn't the usual woman. This guy however needs to die. He is too annoying. Okay that was hilarious. Seriously these people make some pretty bad decisions and such. I liked him until he pulled that move. This little girl is an odd one. Of course everyone is doing a lot of not listening to others. So it could have done without the goofy CGI at the end. For a Syfy movie I actually liked this one. It has its faults and goofiness. It has a few dumb moments. Overall though the whole idea was fairly fun and interesting. I liked most of the characters. The acting was mostly above the normal type for the channel it aired on. I wasn't expecting much and was pleasantly surprised.
