Review of The Forest

Natalie Dormer enough said. I have been meaning to watch this one specifically because she is in this. Also because the Suicide Forest is such an interesting topic. Too bad this is only PG-13. Hopefully that doesn't hinder it. Oh interesting it's directed by the writer of The Houses October Built. It took three writers to script this which isn't usually the best of signs. Nick Antosca is writing the upcoming Friday the 13th that is supposedly taking place in winter for once. It's the only credit for Sarah Cornwell so far. As for Ben Ketai he is fairly known in the horror genre for the sequel to 30 Days of Night and the upcoming Strangers 2. She seems way to down. I don't like depressed Natalie Dormer. That was more odd than actually scary. It must suck to have to be the one who goes looking for bodies. So the plot thickens or does it. Well I knew it was someone getting shot and not some car accident. Cars don't sound like guns. Now it's starting to get odd and slightly confusing. I'm hoping for an explanation. Let's see what happens. I guess it did. It was definitely a nice twist of events. That was a pretty good ending up until the last couple seconds. Honestly most of this was pretty boring. It was such a wonderful concept to go with so I was expecting a bit more. It is creepy though and it makes you wonder if it were real could you make it out. It's not a bad watch. It just doesn't grip you very well.
