Review of Mamula

I mean why not? Girls in bikinis and an attractive killer mermaid sounds like a recipe for a cheesefest. I figure it can't be worse than Indigenous hopefully. Although it does have the horrible Natalie Burn as one of the leads. Milan Todorovic also directed Zone of the Dead which I actually found pretty enjoyable. Uh oh it took three people to write this. I hope that isn't telling on the quality. Milan Konjevic also assisted Todorovic in the writing of Zone of the Dead. Whereas Marko Backovic only starred in that film rather than writing like he does here. This seems to be the only film credit for Barry Keating. So the title sequence and the cast credits with a complete change of pace with their choice of music. At least the music is enjoyable. So I guess seeing as we are seeing these two do a bunch of stuff is that we are suppose to care about them. When I'm sure these two are just here to introduce us with the killer mermaid. I would be staring too. Not sure I would care if it is rude lol. Yeah I figured as much. I didn't see the rest of that coming though. Ah yes bikini bods again woohoo lol. She is definitely not prettier trust me. So this is a creature feature with a bit of the slasher vibe going on. Does telling people stories like that ever stop them? Also stalker alert. See idiots can never listen to the warnings. Oh well damn! I swear the mermaid has killed way less than whatever the killer guy is. Dude that's just cruel! At least the character I like is still around. That is one ugly face! Thank God for that and also finally seeing the mermaid actually kill. There were times that this went unpredictable. The ending was interesting and left things open for a sequel. I actually think that a sequel if done properly could be worth watching. This wasn't great, but it wasn't all that awful either. It was watchable with a few nice kills here and there.
