Well, the description for this movie is more than a bit misleading. It's not "powerful", nor full of guns. There are only a couple of scenes where guns are shown, and only one that I remember where guns are used in a threatening manner. As for "exciting and breathtaking"?? Not quite. This movie is mildly entertaining, but the acting is terrible by all - though I would say that Rachael Leigh Cook gives probably one of the best (if not the best) performance here. And I thought the "Western tale" was going to be more of a Western. Instead, it is just a tale set in Eastern Canada. Ontario actually. So, really, an Eastern tale about farmers who own race horses is what "All Hat" is about.
