An average movie

Well, it was another movie that I had for quite a while on DVD  (I think at least 2 years, maybe even more), so I thought it was really time to watch the damned thing. First of all, I also need to add that I bought it just because someone at the shop pointed out that I could pick up another movie for free and this one seemed to be the least worse of the bunch. Anyway, even  though there were some really bad-ass fight scenes,  some nice visuals (even though the CGI was often rather pathetic) and a nice mood, the whole thing never managed to really grab my attention. Indeed,  during the very beginning, they tell you some historical facts that, in my opinion, had really nothing to do with the actual story. Then, you had a spectacular scene introducing  the two main characters but it didn’t fit very well with the mid-section which was by far the best part in this movie. Finally,  when it seemed that the movie has reached his natural conclusion, they added a rather lame 3rd act which didn’t have anything to do with anything else that happened before. To conclude, even though the basic ingredients were there, it turned out to be a rather weak feature and I don't think it is really worth a look, except maybe if you are a die-hard fan of the genre.
