Review of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: The Black Dossier

A huge chunk to read, view and digest in this series

Though its interesting to see all the pop cultural references you are left wondering where is Moore and originality in all this? Its much like when you see a picture made out of other peoples work or a song made out of 100s of samples of other songs...an interesting technical exercise but thats it

At the end i felt that Moore is just using these other creations and not really doing anything with them other than fueling some weird feminist agenda - the misunderstanding of Flemings James Bond character is amazing

Has Moore turned into a 1 trick pony where every series has to be some highly convoluted and faux-intricate piece? I say faux because if you take away the 100s of in-jokes and references there really isnt much here at all
