An average movie

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this flick but since I always had a weak spot for Samuel L. Jackson, I thought I should check it out. I remember it very well, before it came out, there was this huge hype about this flick on the internet. To be honest, I don't really see why... I mean, how can you expect a movie involving a plane, a bunch of snakes and Samuel L. Jackson to be great? That’s actually the whole issue here. I mean, sure, it all sounded pretty bad-ass when you read about it but, eventually, it was not such a great idea after all. In my opinion, the whole thing was basically just a marketing stunt and that’s where they put all their effort, to spread the word on the net about this weird flick. Eventually, they spent more time on this marketing strategy than on creating the movie itself so you get some rather weak performances, a really pedestrian plot and a rather boring flick in the end. Anyway, the end result was still watchable but not much more than that, I’m afraid. To conclude, it is a typical case of a movie built up on hype and nothing else and I don’t think it is really worth a look.
