A good movie

The main reason I wanted to watch this movie was because it was included to the 2014 version of the book '1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die'. To be honest, it was probably the most surprising and obscure addition for that particular year but since it was on TV, I was quite eager to record it and check it out. Eventually, only a week after I got my hands on the damned thing, I discovered that it was already removed from the 2015 edition. Anyway, I thought I might as well check it out anyway. Eventually, they pretty much used the same gimmick as in 'The Artist' by making a black and white mute feature just like at the beginning of the 20th century. To be honest, even though it is a cute gimmick,  I can’t say I'm huge fan though but it was still a decent watch. Furthermore, even though it was supposed to be loosely based on Snow White,  it was only after maybe 1 hour of running time that it actually started to resemble the timeless tale but I'm not sure if it was a bad thing after all. Anyway, to conclude, I thought it was not bad and it is worth a look, especially if you like the genre.
