Imagine a home that heats itself, provides its own water, grows its own food, needs no expensive technology, recycles its own waste, and has its own power source. It can be built anywhere, by anyone, out of the things society throws away: tires, bottles, etc. About thirty years ago, American architect Michael Reynolds imagined just such a home and built it.
Throughout this documentary, telling Mike's story and his fight to introduce radically sustainable housing, the viewer will see Mike slowly triumphing over bureaucracy to follow his dream: changing the world's housing structures.
Excellent material. Opens our eyes to many possibilities about housing today.
