Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from this flick but since I have a weak spot for Jessica Alba, I thought I might as well check it out. Eventually, I thought that the whole concept of the possessed hand was just a rather stupid idea, right from the start, so it was rather difficult for me to really like this flick. Of course, I understand that it wasn’t supposed to be taken seriously but the biggest issue is that it wasn’t entertaining either. Eventually, I have to admit it, I did enjoy 2 things with this flick though. First of all, there was Elden Henson in it. The guy is completely unknown but also definitely underrated in my book and it is always a treat when he is on screen and this movie was no exception. The second thing was that Jessica Alba did look pretty good at the time. I know, that’s not much but, like I said before, the story was neither funny or scary, in fact, it was actually rather predictable and boring. To conclude, I though it was pretty weak and I don’t think it is worth a look, except maybe if you are a die-hard fan of the genre.
