An average movie

I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick  but since it turned out ot be a decent box-office hit when it was released, I thought I might as well check it out. First of all, I have to admit that I have never seen the original TV show so I can't say if this adaptation was  really faithfull. Anyway, even though I’m not a huge fan of such spy parodies, I thought this one was not bad at all. Above all, I thought that the cast was really spot-on here. Indeed, Steve Carell was a great choice to play the clumsy agent and Anne Hathaway was perfect to play the beautiful lethal female spy. Concerning the jokes, I thought it was unfortunately rather hit and miss. Indeed, some of the jokes were actually really funny but some others were actually rather lame. Eventually, they were starting to talk about a sequel almost immediately after this movie was released but it seems now rather unlikely that it will ever happen. Anyway, to conclude, even though it was nothing really exceptional, I though it was still a rather entertaining comedy and I think it is worth a look, especially if you like the genre.
