Doog ships are *completely broken* in SC3 melee. As you can see here, they have a very fast rate of fire, and their special ability (that whirrrchunk noise) lets them regenerate one crew for the cost of one or two battery. This is with their Precursor artifact upgrade (which I forget what it does exactly...increases how fast their battery returns?) which is what really makes them nigh unstoppable.
