Robinson's Requiem was mediocre at best, but it had some good ideas that haven't been properly explored since. The sequel, Deus, on the other hand proves to be worse. Awkward controls and collision detection make using ranged weapons difficult and the platforming frustrating. There are also more moments where it is unclear what to do to proceed (Such as jumping down the well) than previously. The survival and crafting elements are unfortunately reduced. On the positive side, the medical aspects and voice acting are improved.
