Portugal has a beautiful promise to be the lighthouse of Europe, meaning that the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ can fill the hearts of people in Europe.
And that promise guided me to bring my missionaries here so they could have an idea that just as the light is illuminating the way for the boats, they could illuminate the way of people to Jesus Christ—as they would extend the invitation to them to come unto Him, to change their lives, and receive all the blessings and promises that God and Jesus Christ have for them.
