How the government has created a theatre of crisis for refugees - News Night 30 March 2023

The UK government has created a humanitarian crisis for refugees in 3 ways:

1. Closing down all safe ways of travel so refugees are forced into dangerous routes

2. Ending the use of safe, community-based asylum accommodation in favour of hotels & barges

3. Stopping the processing of asylum claims leading to a huge build up of numbers of people trapped in limbo & misery
