This is a speed drawing / time-lapse artwork of the cartoon character, known as “Courage” from the Courage The Cowardly Dog tv show from the early 2000’s.
So, this is a show I grew up watching, along with many other cartoons around that time, especially on Cartoon Network which is the network this particular show was on. But, unlike other cartoon shows around that time, Courage, imo, is one of the few (if not only) that actually held up to adulthood. Obviously, as time goes on and you inevitably fall out of the “watching cartoons” phase, usually adapting to more mature and live-action tv shows and movies, you’d assume that Courage would be one of those shows that would fall under the category of mediocrity from the lense of an adult, but I’d argue it’s definitely an exception to the rule. I remember watching two seasons worth of it when I decided to rewatch it all these years later and just immediately falling in love with it again. There’s something about a cartoon that is clearly meant for children, but has enough of a mature undertone that it can appeal to adults, even those that would have otherwise not have ever cared to watch such a show in the first place.
Idk, maybe I’m just projecting, but… I feel that I can safely state that Courage The Cowardly Dog is a gem amongst its peers. Take it or leave it. Anyways, enjoy!
