In support of our campaign ‘In The Moment’ on Purple Day, 26 March 2018, recently appointed Young Epilepsy ambassador, Hum Fleming shares the very personal and traumatic experience of her very first seizure.
Diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy at the age of 13, successful fashion publicist and great-niece of celebrated James Bond and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang author Ian Fleming, Hum (now 28) is supporting Young Epilepsy to raise awareness of the true impact of epilepsy on young people today; and how it can change anyone’s life in a single moment.
As part of the campaign, Hum wants to inspire others – including friends and family – to talk about the ‘moment’ epilepsy changed their lives forever.
