Writers discuss Joan Didion's legacy in Sacramento

Famed novelist and essayist, Joan Didion, died Thursday at 87-years-old after complications from Parkinson's disease. The Sacramento-native inspired many in the local literary community. "Joan Didion was a pure example of complicated ideas expressed with clarity," said Shelley Blanton-Stroud, an author who formerly taught writing at Sacramento State University.
