The Many Faces Of Tamara De Lempicka by Kosciuszko Projects at the Kosciuszko Foundation in New York.

The exhibition showcased de Lempicka’s paintings and drawings while documenting her life for the first time in New York in nearly sixty years. As Agnieszka Morawinska notes in her text for the exhibition, “this is significant, as, after the period of furor around her art in the 1920s, we may now consider the artist’s work from the second half of her life, when she found herself beyond the time and place with which she is most closely associated and which she co-created.”

The Many Faces of Tamara de Lempicka (1898 – 1980) had its grand opening weekend from Friday, October 11 through Sunday, October 13 and was on view through November 1, 2019, at the Kosciuszko Foundation (15 E 65th Street, New York, NY 10065 ).

The Kosciuszko Projects is open Monday – Friday. It is free and open to the public. This show was curated by the Artistic Director Bartek Remisko.

"The Many Faces of Tamara de Lempicka at Kosciuszko Projects (from October 11th, 2019 to November 1st, 2019) was the first US exhibition devoted to the Polish artist since 1961, and the debut exhibition of the Kosciuszko Foundation's new project space dedicated to Polish art." - The Art Newspaper
