Tony answers questions and gives insight about his solo career, his views on the success of Phil and Mike's solo careers, how he wants more success for his solo career and we also hear that talks are being had to create another Genesis album which of course later became 'We Can't Dance'. There is also a look at the music video for "Throwback" and we get a very rare look into Tony's home and garden. The interview was conducted by Wolfgang Hellemann for RTL.

When talking about Genesis, you immediately remember Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford, both had great success with their solo projects but one of the group, Tony Banks, didn't have as much success with his solo career. But that should change as Tony wants to step into the footprints of his colleagues by trying to produce a successful album. We were invited to visit the Genesis keyboarder at his estate in England, which was located near the Woodside out of sight and hard to find. Finally, we found the house, similar to a castle, tastefully furnished with expensive antiques. What drives the Lord of his castle to start a solo career after all the success and money he gained with Genesis? [Tony speaks.] His new project is called 'Bankstatement' which means a statement from your bank. [Tony speaks.] The traditional English man normally doesn't talk about money, whether he has a lot or no money at all. So he wasn't driven to do a solo project just because he had been in debt. [Tony speaks.] Tony Banks's music is strongly influenced by his environment, the breadth of its parks, and the silence of nature. He keeps chickens which provide him with eggs, and all the nice flowers around the house are all planted and cared for by him. [Tony speaks.] While we have a Genesis guy in front of our camera, we want to take the chance and ask him when there will be something new from Genesis. [Tony speaks.] 'Bankstatement' should now also manage to be a great chart success, hopefully sweetening the wait for a new Genesis album. [Tony speaks.]
