Alica Schmidt, a 21-year-old track and field athlete, was seen training at Berlin’s Mommsenstadion on Friday. The German sprinter, dubbed the "hottest athlete in the world" by Australian publication 'Busted Coverage' and the 'world's sexiest athlete' by other media outlets, is currently training for a place at the Summer Olympics in 2021. Schmidt has captured the hearts of many, and boasts 1.4 million followers on Instagram, where she often models sportswear. Schmidt, a 400 metre runner at heart, opened up about her priorities in keeping a balance between sport, her modelling aspirations, and social media presence. "Sport has always been in first place for me, and the decision to mainly concentrate on sport was very easy for me. but despite that, the modelling is really fun as well. I also shoot photos privately, also on my Instagram account. I do that when there is spare time," she said.
