Broadway Star Eva Noblezada on Why Her New Movie ‘Yellow Rose’ Is So Special

She’s known for her work on Broadway, but Eva Noblezada just made her feature film debut!

Noblezada stars as Rose in the new film “Yellow Rose,” about a Filipina teen in Texas who wants to be a country singer.

“Extra’s” Adam Weissler caught up with Eva, a Grammy winner and two-time Tony nominee. She shared that the movie was special to her because she had never seen a Filipina lead before and knew she wanted to be part of it, describing it as ultimately a “journey about humanity.”

“Yellow Rose” is in theaters now.
