been awhile, hasn't it? i hope you're all doing well. this is from a few days before the world shut down, kinda weird to watch myself sing about isolation whilst in isolation. (my best friend brenna is my accompanist but she didn't want to be seen, because 'my fame scares her'-- her words, not mine.)
this song has a deeper meaning nowadays, if you see it or not. i hope it brings you some comfort in knowing that missing people makes seeing them again all the better. i hope you're staying safe, staying healthy, and taking advantage of the time to recharge, if you are so privileged to do so. please remember to reach out if you need any help, mentally or physically-- i was able to text 741741 the other day to talk me through some serious anxiety i was having regarding social media and such. it helped me a ton. you are loved, you are appreciated, you are going to be okay. you are not alone.
