G reviews "Manhunt: Unabomber"!
The Unabomber is an infamous name to the public, a symbol of fear that has caused devastation for years before his incarceration.
"Manhunt: Unabomber" is the story of the Unabomber and the profiler (agent:Fitz) who was tasked to find this man and help the FBI take him down!
Paul Bettany brilliantly portrays the Unabomber and Sam Worthington plays Agent Fitzgerlad in this series based on the true events that started in around 1995 and went on until 1997. The show does an excellent job with showing both sides of the coin, showing us a villain with such purpose and a fire that has been building for years in Ted Kaczynski.
The FBI are still very unsure of the process of profiling and Fitz desperately tries to make them see that there is more to Unabomber than just what they think.
The characters are portrayed well. The series adopts a time jumping style, taking us from 1997, back to 1995 and then back again several times throughout the season. Occasionally the editing leaves the viewing a little confused on when we are but it only last for a short time because the hunt and the trial are the main settings for the time periods.
This is a solid show to watch and dives into both lives of the hunters and the hunted!
