I've been playing D&D for years and tonight I'm going to stream the first session I've run in a long time, and I'm making some setting appropriate drinks for my players.
Tonight I'm running D&D for the first time in a long time and I'm very excited. A lot of game groups enjoy having something to drink at the table and here I'm making a couple of setting appropriate drinks, one with and one without alcohol. The Tavern Punch draws on punch and tavern traditions of yore, while the Kobold Kooler is a nonalcoholic riff on a silver fizz.
I love Dungeons and Dragons, and TTRPGs in general, I've played quite a few: Vampire: The Masquerade, Wraith: The Oblivion, Demon: The Fallen, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, Mage: The Ascension (Mage: The Awakening was also surprisingly good), as well as FATE, WH40KRPG, etc. etc. Mostly though, we played D&D. My first experience with D&D actually happened before I even knew what it was, I got a box of DragonStrike, TSR's answer to Games Workshop's Hero Quest (basically a board game encapsulation of Dungeons and Dragons) and I loved it. But I never played it much beyond its introductory board-game level of play. Later on, in my freshman year of Highschool my friend Mike would introduce me to AD&D 2nd Edition and I was instantly hooked. It was pretty much all I wanted to do.

17 oz. -or- 500 ml. Viking Blod Mead
5 oz. -or- 120 ml. Oleo Saccharum
2 oz. -or- 60 ml. Cinnamon Syrup
9 oz. -or- 250 ml. Orange Juice
Garnish with Nutmeg

.25 oz. -or- 15 ml. Cinnamon Syrup
1 oz. -or- 30 ml. Orange Juice

1 egg white
1 oz. -or- 30 ml. lemon juice
1 oz. -or- 30 ml. grenadine
2 oz. -or- 60 ml. hibiscus tea
dry shake
shake again
double strain
top with seltzer
