Munro Chambers takes on a monstrous turn in the indie horror film Knuckleball. Home Alone meets The Shining in the Fantasia Film Festival’s audience choice winner. The film follows the ordeal of Henry (Luca Villacis) a young boy who has to defend himself from a deranged neighbour (Munro Chambers) when his grandfather suddenly passes away on the eve of a snowstorm.
andPOP’s Scott Willats spoke to Munro about his turn to the dark side, creating a nuanced bad guy alongside director Michael Peterson, and reuniting with his Turbo Kid co-star Michael Ironside.
Just in time for thriller season, Knuckleball hits the Carlton Cinema in Toronto and the Mayfair in Ottawa on October 12th. It is rated 14A.
